Practical Method Chen Style
Tai Ji Quan Is very famous. However, most people do not really understand what it is. In the modern era the majority of Taiji is done purely as a health exercise. Of course health is good and we support all people who practice for this purpose. However, Taiji is more than simply a health exercise.
Chen Style Practical Method is a method named by Grandmaster Hong Junsheng from Jinan. However, the method itself was not invented by him. It has a lineage which can be traced directly back to the founder of Taijiquan the martial art in the Chen family village.
Training in Chen Style Practical Method Taijiquan is a difficult and demanding. It is not about moving softly and calmly with no effort. That may be the goal but it is not the training. The training is to re-educate our bodies so that we can come to embody the concept of Taiji. It requires work but it is extremely rewarding.
